Escapism is a collection born from the artist’s desire to bring beauty and colour back into life during a difficult time. Painted in the wake of loss and transition, the creation of these paintings offered an escape – a way to reconnect with joy, imagination and beauty. Wild animals, enigmatic figures and dreamlike scenes become a celebration of empowerment, escape and renewal.
