Gemma Gallagher is an award-winning Artist from Belfast, Northern Ireland, now based in Dubai.

She was awarded 'Artist of the Year' from The Independent Newspaper, UK upon graduating from The University of The Arts, London. She has since exhibited and sold her work worldwide with galleries in London, Dublin, Belfast, Dubai and New York.

Gallagher has also partnered with brands such as Givenchy, Nike, Adidas, Sephora and Aldar to create bespoke paintings and customised designs.

Her work primarily takes the form of large scale oil paintings, depicting mesmerising visuals that combine rich colour palettes, patterns and alluring subjects such as wild animals and seductive female forms.

Idyllic settings and notions of exotic places, figures and patterns are a common theme within her recent work, influenced by her experience living in places far from her native home in Ireland, such as Asia and the Middle East.

Discovering fascinating places and unfamiliar cultures through travel is a continuous source of inspiration for the Artist, who aims to entice viewers into anambiguous, imaginative world using a combination of enticing figures inunexpected places.
