Bridge of Love

This triptych brings together three calligraphic inscriptions from Chinese, Indian, and Arabic traditions.

The Chinese proverb declares, “We don’t count our differences, we treat everyone the same.” From the Maha Upanishad comes the Sanskrit phrase Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – “the world is one family.” The Sufi poet Rumi reminds us that “love is the bridge between you and everything.”

Set within abstract fields of deep green, shifting forms and radiant light, the paintings echo the living ground of the earth itself – fertile, luminous and without boundary. The words emerge like constellations within this expanse, their meanings mirrored in the very surface of the work: equality, kinship, and love arising from the same source, carried across cultures and centuries into a shared vision of one world.
