Between the Lines grew from a longing for connection and peace in a world that often feels fractured by conflict. The artist turned to the teachings of poets, philosophers and spiritual leaders from across times and cultures. What emerged was both simple and powerful. In Gaelic literature, Arabic poetry, Indian scripture, Japanese haiku, Native American prayer and the writings of Greek and Latin philosophers, the same truth appeared: humanity, at its core, is one. Fragments of these words are carried into luminous abstract paintings, each piece carrying with it a reminder of our shared humanity. Viewers are invited to read between the lines, to notice the threads of connection that run quietly through us all. Between the Lines is presented as a response to chaos. It asks what might change if we remembered that our differences are small compared to what we share.
