RESONANCE explores these invisible experiences that shape our lives: love, grief, transformation, awe, faith and the unseen connections between ourselves, the natural world and the greater mystery of existence.

Drawing upon poetry, philosophy, spiritual traditions and ideas from science, the collection brings together voices from across centuries and cultures, each offering a different understanding of what it means to be human. Their words become part of a visual dialogue exploring the mysteries we share. Each painting begins with these words. Passages are handwritten directly onto the canvas before being gradually transformed through layers of colour, expressive gesture and texture. Much like the experiences that shape us, their presence endures even when they can no longer be clearly seen.
